Elegant and Luxurious
This is so luxurious. I first tried a robe like this at a little cabin we stayed at when we had to attend a funeral. I just fell in love with it and really wanted to buy it from the owners of the cabin, but my husband said no…boo…:( but then told me that I could find the maker and buy one on their website. YAY!! 🙂 I had a hard time finding one that was close to the robe that was at the cottage. This one beats that one hands down. It’s a larger size than the one at the cottage. It closes with plenty of room left over. It’s a longer robe. It ends about 5 inches above my ankles which is a perfect length in order to crawl up and read a book ,watch tv, or just lounging around the house. It’s pretty awesome. The color is a Shawl collar which I actually stand up to look like the polo shirts I used to wear back in the day. It’s comfortable, with large sleeves, but not to large as to get in the way while you’re moving around the house. It’s soft already, but the info that comes with it says that it will get even softer with every wash. They also plant a tree with every robe purchased. My only issue is that it has so many pictures of the slippers along with the robe, so it seems like you’re getting the slippers with them. I know that they put that in there, but it’s in extremely small print and I missed it. I think it’d be best if you’d just put, “Slippers not included,” in order to know up front that you only get the robe. I was really looking forward to the slippers, but am not willing to add/pay for them. That, in my opinion, should be made very clear because it can easily confuse people. Like me! LOL!!! This robe is a must have if you want something luxurious to snuggle into for an evening in.

I just received this robe like 35 minutes ago and it is so incredible, I’m compelled to review it immediately.First off, the packaging is perfect for gift giving so keep that in mind. It comes in a protective bag with the company logo of a sun on it, the robe tied with a red ribbon around the neatly tucked square.I had no idea what Turkish cotton was in a robe. I have Turkish towels but that’s all I knew of anything Turkish. This robe is truly amazing. It’s soft in an absorbent towel sort of way, not a chenille fuzzy robe sort of way. It has a pocket on the left breast and a very large pocket on each side of the robe.Not one stitch is frayed, no strings, nothing. This is very much 5 star hotel quality. I’m 5’6”, size 16, 40” waist or so. I expected it wouldn’t fit and if it didn’t, I would give it to my MIL for Christmas. The L/XL fits and then some. It actually runs big. You can see in the picture how it overlaps. The tie is very long. This would fit an XXL person for sure but keep in mind I’ve not washed it so there could be shrinkage in the dryer.It’s heavy, fit for winter, surely. Thick, no doubt about its absorbency. The quality of this robe has prompted me to try their pajamas now. And I’ll be getting one for my Mail for Christmas. This one is mine.As for the value for the money, it’s a steal. I don’t usually get excited in a product review so this one is very special.

I am of Turkish decent and am happy to have come across this Turkish terry cotton robe which exceeded my expectations! The outside of the robe is of luxuriously soft velour, while the inside is thirsty Turkish terry cotton to absorb any last drop of moisture. The presentation is impressive: my robe arrived in a plastic bag outside of a satin cloth bag, which held the nicely wrapped beautiful robe. I got the red, and love the trim details around the collar and pockets. The size is generous even in a Small/Medium, which is essential to keep warm after showers on cold days. The price is better than most high-quality robes I’ve seen on retail. It would make an enviable gift, if you could resist the temptation to keep it for yourself!
