Was what I wanted; light weight but keeps me warm.

I kind of wish I’d picked a different color as this looks more army green in person, but that’s on me I suppose. It’s hard to find zip-up robes made of cotton these days though, so that much is still nice. When I first tried it on (before washing), it hugged my hips a bit more than I liked (I have very wide hips). But after wearing it longer it loosened up a bit and feels closer to the similar style robes I’ve had in the past. For the same reason, I feel like the pockets are a bit high on these ones than what I’m used to, but that may be better so that if you put your phone or other weighty object in there, it won’t swing around quite as much or fall out as easily when you lean over. This should make a nice comfy robe for the summer, I was getting a little chilly wearing it now in the winter.

Nice Basic Robe For After Showers
I have needed a basic cotton robe to wear after showers to get from the bathroom to the bedroom in case I just need to quickly move from one room to the other. I have to walk canes due to an injury so it is very important I have things like this to slip on in case someone drops by.FABRICThe fabric in this robe is really good quality cotton knit. I am not fond of the color, though which is a pretty warm blue . I can not get it to show up correctly in photos. In real life it is a pretty yellowish blue crossed with denim blue. The piping is white.ZIPPERThe zipper does not go all of the way down, but that is okay. I just need something to quickly slip on to walk from one room to the next. I probably won’t be wearing this around all of the time, only when I need to cover up quickly.FITI wear a size 16 at the time of this review and this fits me well with room to spare. If it shrinks a bit, I should still be okay. I got an XXL for that reason. If I want it as an over robe for a nightgown, there is plenty of room for that too.THE BOTTOM LINEThis is a nice basic cotton robe. I like it and will wear it when I need it.MY RATINGFOUR STARS. I am thankful to have this. It is not the most attractive flattering robe, but it serves the purpose I got it for and that is good enough for me. Even though I am rating it four stars, I still suggest it if this is the type of robe you need and are not interested in feminine flounces or ruffles.

XXL is definitely not the same as Women’splus size 2X. Otherwise it seemed to be what I was looking for; cotton, full zipper, knee length, pockets, nice color. Unfortunately, I will have to return it.

This is comfy and attractive. It’s soft and the color is nice. It’s lightweight, so perfect for summer. Zips nicely. What else is there to say?
