It Is Exactly As Pictured
Think of a mid-grade Canon bath towel: the looping, the amount of loops per inch and that is exactly what the terry fabric of this robe is. It’s a nice bathrobe. The hem falls on my feet. I’m 5’6″ and I ordered the XL which is perfect because I can wrap the robe all the way to the other side of my body and then cinch it with the belt. I’ve already laundered it and it came out fluffy with NO shrinkage. It’s going to fabulous in the winter months after a nice bath, and nice during the long Southern summers when the AC is on too high. I ordered the purple and it’s beautiful. The sleeve length is perfect. It’s a bathrobe that I will have a hard time taking off during the winter months. Love it!

Very thick cotton; shrinks so size up
This is a very thick terry robe- quality is nice. It is not stifling – I find it very comfortable. The full length is perfect- I am 5’5” and the robe is down to my ankles – exactly what I wanted.The instructions say to wash before you wear it and air dry or dry on low (I think). I dried it on medium since the Terry is so thick and it shrank a bit. Now it does not wrap in front as much as I would prefer. But it’s still very nice. It was hard to find a floor length winter robe. I recommend this.

I love my robe
I’m 5′ 5″ and 170 lbs and a size Large fit me perfectly. In spite of my weight, I don’t look heavy except upper torso. I wear an extra large in tops. I just took a chance and ordered LG and the fit is perfect. It comes to the top of my feet, no worry about tripping over it. Sleeves can be turned up if necessary, they are cuffed anyway but not sewn in place. I have COPD, so I love that I can put the robe on and let it dry my body when coming out of the shower. Using a towel for drying is very difficult with this breathing ailment. It leaves me breathless and gasping for air. The robe is heavy and thick, so it’s warm to for those cold winter evenings when relaxing. You want to wash it before wearing…I washed and dried it 3X, because there’s a tremendous amount of lint. I’ve washed it twice since and there’s still a lot of lint, but the robe comes out looking like new. I must add, when taking it out of the washer, it’s even heavier when wet. One more thing, even after washing/drying 3X before wearing, I found little blue dust puffs around the baseboards of most rooms in my 2 bed, 2 bath, apt. I can’t figure it out because I didn’t see lint on my furniture or chairs. Well after a few more wash and dries…that problem disappeared. LOL Otherwise, I love this robe. Though a bit spendy, it’s worth it to me and for my needs, in spite of the initial hassle.Sizing is difficult when ordering online and I read a ton of reviews before ordering. My pet peeve when it comes to online reviews on any kind of clothing is, more often than not, the writer doesn’t tell you their height and weight. They say it runs large or small etc. but without more info, it’s not much help.

Strings of thread all over robe
I would not recommend this robe. It has strings of threads hanging all over and because it is looped terry, many of the loops are pulled. It runs small and is very heavy to wear so much so that I have to take it off when I sit on the toilet. The sleeves have heavy duty double terry cloth cuffs on the end of the sleeves and when I washed and dried the robe the cuffs did not dry. I had to hang it on a hanger overnight to dry them. For the price, there are too many bad things about this robe that does not make this a good value.

Bought this as a gift and she absolutely loves it! It’s thick, has a bit of weight to it but, not too much and the length is perfect. I got a large and it reaches her ankles. She’s around 5’6”. Very happy with this purchase.
