I love this robe. This is my second one, and I only bought a new one because I wanted a different color and the old one had gotten ruined by a bleach mishap. I am slightly over 5 foot 5, and I weigh a 170 pounds. The fit is perfect. It comes down to my ankles and is so thick and warm. I put it on right out of the shower instead of using a towel. The hood is great for soaking up excess water without having to rub my hair and risk damage. This is a great robe. I would definitely recommend it

the robe is 100% cotton as listed (not always the case once you receive the product) it’s very soft after washing (delicate, cold, tumble dry no heat) and the (one size up) fit is not terrible though not everything I wanted.Like many, I was looking for a long voluminous robe. Like many, finding one is basically impossible. My partner has a terry cloth robe from thinkgeek that’s ancient and amazing with a body so full i can wrap it around me twice and it’s only a men’s medium. I bought this a size up hoping that at the very least I would get decent length. I had little hope for volume as the photo clearly showed this robe has a very narrow skirt, and that has born out with its arrival. Sitting down, the skirt gapes wide open across my legs providing no warmth from the thighs down. Even if I try to pull the edges together, there’s simply not enough skirt body to pull together. When I stand the two sides just come together even though both waist flaps are overlapping my front body completely. It seems they cut the skirt portion of the robe down so that it is perfectly straight when you’re standing.The last down side, for me, is that this is very clearly sized for a long upper body. I’m not a long upper body. If I leave the robe hanging, and tie the waist where it hangs naturally from my shoulders, its length just barely reaches my ankles – but the sash is at my lower hip. If it tie the sash around my waist it lifts the hem up a solid 6″ and now the length is sitting mid calf on me. Since I want the length I’ll either have to get used to tying it low, or unpick the sash loops and re-sew them at my actual waist.

It’s very fluffy kind of scratchy needs a couple of washing before it gets off. If you order an extra large, please be really big because it’s really big and heavy, but it is very nice and absorbent and I love it.

When looking for a Good robe for my guest room I thought when purchasing this one that it would be a better quality than I could buy at Target and other retail stores. although within a week of my purchase I found a robe not the same brand, but of the same quality for $24.00 at ROSS. Was was I disappointed with my purchase. I expected it to be of the quality of a fine resort for $100.00, it was not.

Bought this for my wife for Christmas and she loves it! She said it’s very cozy,warm and absorbent . I bought her a small, she is 5’3″ arm length and total length are a very good fit. She is normally always cold and says this robe is very warm has good weight to it and soft! Recommended!
