Inexpensive Satin and Lace Robe
At this price the satin and lace are about what I would expect in terms of quality; not as luxuriant as silk but comfortable enough to sleep in. Both fabrics are on the stiffer side, which limits their softness, but the design and construction are pretty typical for basic sleepwear, so they can still offer the look and elegance of a more delicate piece. They are not so abrasive as costume lace can be. I wash in delicate and line dry, but they will take some ironing to get the wrinkles out. As it is I don’t feel the need to be too cautious with my care. This satin does not breath quite so well as silk, or a more naturally based satin, so in the warmth they can get a bit clammy, but they are a nice cover up in the AC. I also really like the color options. I got the green which seems pretty color fast and still looks vibrant after multiple washes.So if you want a little extra sleekness in your lounge-wear without investing is full silk options, this can still offer a taste of elegance without breaking the bank.
