It was too big for me. I got the wrong size. But too much material for a summer nightie. Not sure how anyone could call this sheer. It had layers of fabric. No good for me for winter because no sleeves. I returned it. I can’t say there was anything intrinsically wrong with it, it just wasn’t right for me. Well made, soft comfortable material, pretty color but to heavy and too big. I considered checking out the smaller size but like I said too hot. I don’t know about washability.

I just happen to be searching for vintage style nightgowns. Because I can never find anything I like. I don’t like wearing long gown type nightgowns and I don’t like wearing pajamas that are tops and bottoms… But I found this style and I bought one at first and it was prettier than even what it look like in a picture. And the first one I bought I’ve had for two years and it’s still in great condition. I bought the pink one first and then eventually bought the black one. Then I bought the purple one and then I bought another purple one, and then another black one. They do have this sheer, kind of sexy over piece but then underneath there’s a cotton base nightgown underneath so when you sleep, that’s what your skin feels you don’t feel the the pretty sheer flowing fabric that they put over the nightgown to make it look so feminine and vintage. I love them and I’m gonna keep buying them until they stop making them. Because they’re comfortable, and they’re not ugly so if someone was with you at night time it’s nothing to be embarrassed about it’s not like you’re wearing a potato sack to bed, it’s just a really cute feminine old fashion nightgown and I love it. But it is sexy. I will say that.

I once bought from Amazon a made for men ‘sissy’ nightie, it was poorly made, the satin and lace felt rough, unlike this cute little one which is quality made, soft, sheer, floaty and feminine! and all for the bargain price of just over £20! … amazing!
