I have a beautiful floral dress that is flowy and made of a gauzy material. The problem I’ve had with it is that it is very thin – so I needed a slip to wear underneath. I have worn a skin-tone colored slip with it, and that worked fine, but the flowers are shades of pink, and I thought a pink slip would be much prettier underneath. Whatever I wear is going to be somewhat visible through the fabric. When I saw this nightgown, I thought, ‘why not give it a try?’, so I ordered – a size up, so that it would be looser than a normal slip would be. It’s perfect for the job! I love that it is long enough as well, so that it covers my legs underneath this thin dress. The straps are adjustable, which gives you options to make it a bit shorter. Overall, I’m so happy that I found this product and that it works well under my floral dress. I may have to use a product to reduce static electricity since this is not made of cotton, but I can deal with that for the benefit of having a pink under layer for my dress. I’m sure it would also work great as a nightgown, but I guess my review is showing you that you can also think outside the box sometimes.

This nightgown is very comfortable and breathable. Great for warm nights. It fits as expected and the straps are adjustable. The nightgown is silky and very well made. I love the purple color and the length, as I prefer gowns at that level. Twists with my body when I sleep. My husband says it is classy and sexy. I recommend this.
