Reasonable value if new, item looked worn though.
I ordered this under the impression that I was getting a new item, however, judging by the way the item was when it arrived I can only assume that the item I received was a customer return. It looked like it has been laying in a laundry basket for some time judging by the state of the fabric.The fabric of the gown is pretty delicate and when I took it out of the bag it was super wrinkled. It was folded nicely in the bag so there was no reason for it to be in this condition. Also the card that it was placed on looked old and tatty, it was ripped and had holes in it. If I had been buying this to give as a gift I would have been very disappointed. New is supposed to be just that.The item itself is very pretty, the lace detail down the sides is tasteful and preserves ones modesty. The neck line is nice and I like that the straps tie at the back which make the gown very adjustable. The fabric feels very delicate, to the point where it begins to feel thin and a bit cheap.The sizing was good and I would say it runs true to size. The wrinkles for the most part came out after washing and ironing (be sure to iron on a low setting), at 19.99 which is the price of this nightgown at time of my review I would have to say it’s not good value for money if indeed it is used. However, if you receive a new gown then I would say the 19.99 is a reasonable price.
