Hand wash in cool water
The description is accurate and fits as indicated. The fabric has been sized and arrives somewhat stiff, which will come out in the first washing.There are two sets of ties to close it, as there should be: one set on the inside and one set on the outside.It will shrink if you wash it in a machine. Hang to dry. I am 6 feet tall and 225 pounds and it fits me as I wanted. Coming from Japan it’s been very hard to find Yukata home wear that fits properly and I am happy to have found this.

Stiff and uncomfortable
The robe feels like sandpaper. Very scratchy and stiff. Returning today. Definitely not what I expected.
